When Bitcoin's price gets exciting like it has this week, it's important to remember what an emotional roller-coaster the next year will be.
Right now is what Optimism feels like. We've been here before, so let's use previous cycles to remind ourselves what's coming next and how long it will take:
- 370 Days from 1st Halving until ~$1.2k All Time High
- 527 Days from 2nd Halving until ~$20k All Time High
That last monster run to $20k breaks down into two parts:
- 230 Days from 2nd Halving until surpassing ~$1.2k All Time High
- 297 Days from surpassing ~$1.2k All Time High until new ~$20k All Time High
History won't repeat exactly, but it often rhymes.
As we stand today (11/6/2020), it's been 189 Days since the 3rd Halving. That gives us a few months until BTC reaches the previous ~$20k All Time High.
Once we surpass $20k, there's still ~300 days until this cycle's All Time High! Roughly a year from now.
There will be plenty of opportunities to BTD(Buy The Dip)! along the way. The hardest part will be hodling through the Excitement & Thrill, then to execute your plan at peak Euphoria.
