This week we cracked the all-time high! Now that is what a breakout looks like. To all the long time hodlers and readers who have been stacking sats through 2020 and beyond, congratulations! Predicting the future is not as easy as we make it look ;)
Major events such as this zoom us into the chaos and noise of the market's real time pulse. But the most successful people in crypto are the ones who bought early and do nothing. Predicting the future is only half of an investor's job, the harder half is witnessing your thesis play out without interfering.
To help, I try to stay zoomed out by default.
For example, the chart I look at every day is bookmarked/defaults to the monthly view (see below). I also prefer reading macro views of markets and monetary history over the latest regulatory FUD or the hottest new trading app.
I believe that a faster, free'er, safer, unencumbered money is inevitable. But this is a big change from the way money works today, which means there will be a lot of volatility over a long time frame.
