Adam Back

Adam Back is the co-founder and current CEO of Blockstream. He is also credited with inventing Hashcash in 1997, a proof-of-work system that is used in Bitcoin’s mining process.

Back was one of the first people to receive an email from Satoshi Nakamoto, and is speculated to be one of the “Satoshi candidates.”
