Dorian Satoshi Nakamoto is a Japanese engineer who was mistakenly identified as Satoshi Nakamoto (Bitcoin’s creator) by Newsweek magazine in 2014. Rumors have long circulated that Dorian Nakamoto is in fact Satoshi due to the similarity in their names among other coincidences. However, Dorian has repeatedly denied his involvement in Bitcoin and stated officially that he “did not create, invent or otherwise work on bitcoin.”
