Gregory Maxwell

Gregory Maxwell is a former Bitcoin core developer who had early involvement in the project as far back as 2011. Maxwell also co-founded Blockstream and served as CTO until late 2017. He is credited with numerous contributions to blockchain technology, including the homomorphic key derivation used in BIP32 as well as trustless privacy-preserving techniques.
