What’s more valuable? The idea of a non-sovryn, self custodial, permissionless global money OR the implementation of that idea? Regardless, both can be tokenized.
In his recent talk at Token 2049, Murad argues that the product/fundamentals only represent 20% of the value in a project and that the community of speculators that forms around the idea represents the remaining 80%. If that’s true, then skip the product, rip out the fundamentals, produce a pure tokenized idea, and you get to the heart of the memecoin thesis.
Often times the best investments end up being things you initially disregarded as weird. But when it keeps popping up, it might be worth a deeper look.
