Time to buy is when no one cares

Time to buy is when no one cares

The time to buy is when no one cares.

One year before the Bitcoin ETF on Jan 11th, BTC was trading at $18k. No one cared. That was the bottom of crypto’s 4 year cycle.

During the two month media frenzy leading into the ETF launch, everyone cared and BTC traded sideways and then dumped on the news. That scared investors away long enough to stop caring (a full month), before BTC went up another 50%.

So what is no one paying attention to now? Just this week we were talking in the BitLift Discord about how DeFi and Web3 seem awfully quiet. Do I think NFT’s are dead? Nope. Do I think the decentralization of Wall St is over? Nope.

If you truly care about something, not just because the media brought it up this week, but you engulf yourself in it, then you’ll be around when no one else cares. And that’s the most important moment in the cycle.

The BitLift Podcast

The community has spoken. You like more conversational podcasts vs more tutorial ones. Ok cool ~ I like em too! My recent episode with Brian Russ is a perfect example. I especially like the indicator he’s looking at to mark the next chapter of the bull market.

Crypto Cycle Update

Four years is a LONG time. The bear market lasts longer than you expect it to. And the bull market takes longer than you expect it to. Even though it’s taken the exact same length of time through each past cycle.

Even though a new Bitcoin All Time High hit a sooner than expected, I don’t think it matters when you zoom out. Here’s what I wrote a month ago:

Keep Up With Crypto

Here’s what I’m reading, watching, sharing and keeping an eye on in crypto this past week.

From The BitLift Discord:

@abk: My gut is that DeFi and NFTs will pick up big time once we’re in full on bull mania and everyone is feeling ETH rich @GΞR฿Z: DeFi has been a hard hodl but I totally agree. I think web3 could be a great buy here. Been eyeing $FIL. Probably going to shift my DeFi positions to Web3 positions (for a trade) if im being honest. Not sure I have room for both and would rather go bigger on one big conviction idea than spray across a dozen.
